I FMQ'd it on my sewing machine. I made the back 3 inches larger all a way around once I FMQ'ed it I then cut it all to the same size. I sanwiched it on the floor. I used blue tape to mark when the front ended and then more tape to meaure out 3 inches so that worked out great to center. I did put the front of the quilt down on the floor first, then the batting then the backing.

May I pick your brain a bit? I am in the process of making a reversible quilt for my daughter also.
1. Did you quilt it with a LA? 2. If you quilted it on a DSM, did you make the quilts the same exact sizes?

I will be quilting mine on my DSM and keep going back and forth on my question as to size. Don't have a lot of extra fabric and as of this moment decided to make them the same size. So unsure of myself am I that I am not finishing the piecing.

Thank you for your input. Yolanda Wood River
