I'm not sure the size you want so that should be taken into consideration.

The red square would be a larger size due to cutting it in quarters.
I'm sure we could help you with the size if you post how big you want the final block.
And here I thought it was all one white fabric ... and I sure as heck do not see any snowballs!!
