it is not necessary to delete PMs until your inbox/sent are full. to delete them all, go to the bottom of the page and find Folder Controls... within the verbiage is says Empty Folder - just click on it. i can't exactly recall, but i think you have to do it for the inbox and then switch to sent and do the same thing.
