Your border would look pretty if you echo around the applique and fill in the rest with stipple or some other filler.
I tried that but my machine is a new one and won't run with out thread. I did put my design all on one long sheet maybe not the best idea ? but I haven't done it this way before
I was thinking about echo quilting the border . I really wanted to keep this as soft as possible so I don't know about the stipple
