Looking for a back-up/ travel machine for my Viking Platinum Plus. Costco has the Brother XR1300 for $169. I'm considering having my husband pick one up if they go on clearance. But I can find no online reviews of the XR1300. Based on info on the Brother website it seems very similar to the Brother HC1850 just does not include the lettering font. I do any lettering with the embroidery unit on my Viking so that doesn't matter to me. Can anyone give either of these machines a recommendation? Or warn me to stay far away?
