DH did the math, the cost of buying a new Prius or keeping my car which is paid for. I would take me over 15 years to recoup the cost of the car in gas savings and I drive a Cadillac. No thanks. If you need to buy a new car it would be worth it. DH has never once thought of giving up his Silverado to save gas money.
