More measurements...this was an interesting adventure!
I took a piece of paper and went around to all my machines. Lined the edge up against the machine and dropped the needle, wrote the name of the machine next to the needle hole. It was interesting to see how they compare.

And my current every day machine is a Kenmore with a throat space of a measly 6 1/8 inches. I never really thought of how little space there is there.
