Invisible Thread - is there a trick?
I have just spent the last 16 minutes trying to start a spool of monofilament thread. First I couldn't find the notch that I assumed was there, and ended up digging out an old magnifying glass after I removed the top and bottom labels. Then I couldn't find the thread that was supposed to be there, and when I did there wasn't enough to grab. That's where my tweezers came in handy. Except I couldn't pull the darn thread out of the notch. Then I had to find my Exacto knife to cut a notch into the notch to free the thread. Finally I have the beginning of this spool. Is there a trick? I am dreading the same time-wasting procedure for the second spool.
