Just google "quilted Christmas ornament." You may also use any small block--perhaps a four patch or a pinwheel-- in about a 3 or 4" size. Treat it with a small 1/2" border, quilt and bind, and add a hanging (ribbon or similar to potholder with binding. If you don't want to bind, just made the border a bit bigger, add back, sew around leaving turning space. Turn and attach a hanger. I've made some put on point. You can add a tassel or jingle bell at bottom point. You might also consider making small versions of the little Criss-Cross Coaster (again do a Google search.)
