It is fun, you can find hotels/motels in every price range but nice if walking distance to the show and if you are driving be sure parking is included in the price they quote. The Aquarium of the Pacific is short walk but everything in the area is connected by cute trolleys that run all day and most of the night. There was an RV park that was near the start of the trolley line...not sure if it is still there.
