It is an extrodinary and lovely quilt! There was a thread recently about auctioning quilts. I have done it several times, BUT do tell the school a minimum price! Sometimes these things will go for $50 and you have $200 in the cost of the quilt and machine maintenance. You should at least cover your basic expenses. Not because you need the money (I have no idea about that), but because it's right. AND, when the price starts higher a lot of people realize this is something special and are willing to pay more. We are more comfortable than we used to be and my DH told a school he would donate the minimum (my cost) to the school if the quilts I donated didn't sell for that. They all sold.
