You might want to consider switching A&B as well as C&D. A is supposed to be lighter than B and C darker than D. But other than that small switch, your colours look fabulous to me.

Speaking of split pea soup...yumm one of my very very favorites. I llike to make homemade sourdough croutons to put in my soup right before serving.
