They are so tiny that FMQing with that throat space, or lack of, is something I would prefer on my other machines. Most people either ignore the raised feed dogs(lowering them is NOT a necessity for FMQ, but a preference). Or some people tape a business card over them. Motors are replaceable and not something I would worry about, but the lack of throat space sure is. There are people who FMQ with them, just usually small projects. Good luck.
