Yep, I just used a glue bottle with a fine tip yesterday and had to put a heated rice bag on my hand for a while afterwards. Think I will go back to using the tip that is on the Elmer's glue bottle.
I glued the binding on a wall hanging today & it was just as easy as the quilt I first tried this method on. In neither case did I use a fine tip; I didn't open the Elmer's tip all the way. I found it was easy to adjust for the size of the line I needed. I didn't use a very fine line, so it wasn't too difficult to squeeze.
