It's not real clear, but I just had to give it a go LOL. You start with a 14" Square an then you fold one triangle and then fold it again. I measured 7" from the point of the triangle along the longest edge and made a mark I then lined my ruler up from this mark to the other top edge (where all the raw edges are) and cut there. I ended up with a lovely looking Octagon, not Hexagon as she says.
I could try and take some pictures if you don't understand my explanation , I'm not the best at trying to explain things
