l have my bobbins in two donuts and keep them by my machine. When I sew, I can see at a glance all my thread and it helps me use up my bobbins. I also will use a bobbin for the top thread when I'm working on small projects. Having extra bobbins helps too. When I got frustrated about not having enough bobbins or a workable system to find them easily, I bought the donuts and an extra pkg of bobbins. Good investment to bring down stress and increase my sewing enjoyment. I highly recommend anything that cuts down frustration!
