use them up sewing the blocks together. i do alot of scrappy so it doesn't matter since it doesn't show anyway. also i've made thread bowls. just put the tread in between 2 peices of water solvible like bellaboo does. sew it together but after the web is taken off i fit over a bowl and trim excess off. let dry. then i like to use stiffener on it to hold its shape. let dry again. also put plastic wrap over the bowl or shape first. before taking it off the web you can also sew ribbon or rickrack around the top.
