I disagree. While teachers are great (I have to say that - I was one, lol) and you can learn a lot from them (well,
most of them) you shouldn't rely wholly on what one person says - that
is her way, not necessarily what works for you.
Don't let your relative inexperience (I am too) shadow your common sense. You seem to be doing fine.
