Love them! Just make sure you use 100% cotton batting (not warm & natural which has a poly scrim), cotton thread and cotton fabric! I just stuck a cotton dish towel in the microwave and ignored the fact that i had a small machine embroidery on it I did with poly thread. It wasn't in long enough for it to catch fire, but it scorched! This was after 2 minutes.
Oh, great! In the tutorial the lady said she used Warm and Natural, so that is what I used! I guess I had better tell people just to use them to put the hot bowls in AFTER removing from the microwave to bring to the table! Bummer!! Wonder if anyone else has made them and used W & N, how they stood up!! Thanks! Glad I only made 6 so far!!
