I personally like Machingers gloves. They come in all sizes and they just work best for me. I have used all of the above but settled on Machingers.
I see that susie-susie-susie also has trouble getting her thimble to fit. Here is your solution: Tape on the inside of a thimble that is too large. I personally use medical cloth tape -- because I have it and it grips the finger well. It takes a little bit of time to get that tape inside the thimble (I usually cut narrow short strips and lay them in trimming where necessary). It is well worth the time and effort, and if you loose it you can make another.
