Robert, I'm glad you like the star. The first one I did I thought was looking great until I put the outside strips on it. My points weren't anywhere near the corners. I ended up creating a paper-piecing template for the pointed corners, but I think the result was worth the extra step. And, thanks to everyone for their nice comments.
