My hubby bought me an iPad for Christmas a couple of years ago (I have the first one) and I absolutely LOVE it - its never that far from me if I can help it
I watch movies on Netflix or Comcast, listen to music (again when I'm sewing lol), use it for reference, play games, read books, etc. What I love about it is the large screen for movies/tv and there are a TON of free apps.
