My second quilt was made using fat quarters, and this is probably the easiest quilt you will ever make. All you do is sew fat quarters together. Other than cutting your batting and backing down to size, there is no cutting at all. Here is a lapquilt sized one one I made for my son for Christmas one year, but you can simply make it 3 X 5 fat quarters instead of 2 X 4 and it makes a twin sized quilt. When I made my first one, it was a twin sized for my grandaughter. Hope this helps! :c)
