I don't think I would want to use the cutting corner ruler. It may waste a little fabric to strip piece and then cut to shape, but it's a lot easier than cutting first and then trying to get the angles right when you sew the pieces together. On the other hand, that Bloc Loc ruler looks great! I just finished about 200 HST's, and I could have really used it. But first I'll try just putting a strip of tape or moleskin down the diagonal of a square ruler and see if that works just as well. I use my small rotating cutting mat, so I don't need to swivel the ruler, just the mat.
