I watch movies on Netflix or Comcast, listen to music (again when I'm sewing lol), use it for reference, play games, read books, etc. What I love about it is the large screen for movies/tv and there are a TON of free apps.

From what I looked up it is an in-store promotion only. You won't be able to order online. I don't know about anyone else but I am not brave enough to fight the big crowds for these deals. If I can't order online I guess I just won't get it. I am like a lot of you I am intrested in this thread as I too want an IPad or something equal to.
