Default Applique - How much do I fix, and how?

Hi all! I recently completed my first needle-turn applique on a wall quilt and loved it! BUT, when I machine quilted it I learned a whole lot about what NOT to do with needle-turn applique. There are spots where the edge of the presser foot got under the edge of the applique and pulled it loose; some spots you have to be right up on them to see it, but in others it does look frayed. Nothing is in danger of falling off.

How much of it should I fix?
HOW can I fix the applique now that the whole thing is quilted? Can the answer involve glue?

Boy, was this ever a learning experience! I'll try to get up there and take some pics, but honestly I'm afraid if I get too close to it right now I might spontaneously combust.
