Here are three of mine - please add yours -
Original: Practice makes perfect
Mine: Practice sometimes makes better
Mine: Practice convinced me I don't want to do it any more
(According to many - Only God is perfect - so how can my practicing make anything perfect?)
Original: Live and learn
Mine: Learn and live
Original: When an animal is neutered, many say "It's been fixed"
Mine: My pet was modified. (I don't think the animal thought it was broken or needed repairing.)
Mine: My pet was castrated/neutered/spayed/had a pan hysterectomy. (In the case of a male, deballed)
