Just what I was going to say. I find denim ravels more than anything else I use in rag quilts but it really makes a pretty seam. Also, don't forget to clean out your bobbin area when you change bobbins (lots of lint). Denim is a popular rag quilt material so there are lots of pictures on the internet and etsy. I sold all my quilts so I don't have any to make pictures of at the moment.
