Heheh. Yea really. my last job was horribly strict but even they let us surf the internet, check email, listen to music, and have snacks!!! and they were dealing with far more confidential information than this. However, I've worked for this company 3 other times and even though those restrictions have always been on there, they've almost never been enforced. I mean can you really expect someone to work 10 years at a job without ever once using their computer for personal use? I mean seriously.. you gotta take care of things during normal work hours sometimes and if you can't use your work computer, they better have some public computers available.. it's just not realistic. And I doubt it'll be highly enforced. Doesn't mean I'm gonna go surf porn or anything.. haha I just want to be able to check my darned email sometimes!. It's the not being able to respond to a text that's gonna be ahard habit to break. And not one I can reasonably argue against since I don't have kids and have no real reason to be gotten ahold of for anything that can't wait for breaks.. it's just my tie to the outside world and it's an addiction. hehe. But snacks!!! CMON!!!!..

As far as I know.. we can use the bathroom.. which was largely frowned upon at my last job and outright forbidden if you were already too close to being outside of the time constraints. hehe. no lie. it sucked. Never been so micromanaged in my life. Not even by my own boss, but by a darned computer and a panel of other people who don't do my job.. yikes. Ohwell.. it's a job and I'm sure I will like the JOB.. just won't like the restrictions. I guess it will keep me from gaining that office job 20lbs that i just lost.

I'm not sure how I will like the complete lack of any personal time come january when I start having to go to on-campus classes. I'll pretty much only see home long enough to sleep. The kitties will be real mad and I expect to see my house destroyed every night. as it stands, until january, I should have 3-4 hours a day in the week to do all those things "responsible" adults do.. like laundry, cleaning, cooking, feeding the critters, and HOMEWORK.. homework takes up MOST of that.. geez. ohwell. I'm just throwing a tantrum because I really like NOT working.. I just equally hate being broke.
