This is the first quilt I've done with all solids. I wanted to do something a bit more masculine for my adult stepson, and this is what I came up with. I pieced and quilted it with my Brother PQ1500S. This is the third quilt I've finished, so I think I have to stop calling myself a new quilter now, even though I still feel very inexperienced. I have so much to learn!
Oh, by the way, the quilt pattern in the rectangles is the free motion swirl, which I learned from Angela Walters in her Craftsy class, Free Motion Quilting in Negative Space. So many great ideas! Loved it! I did all free motion squirrels and, if you look closely, you'll see one free motion squirrel. Scott loves squirrels, so I had to throw one in there.
