Good for you! My blades last a long time because I sharpen it about every day. Always sharpen a sharp blade and it won't get dull. This blade sharpener works great for me. It won't sharpen a dull blade but it will keep a blade sharp. . I change the blade at the first skip. I won't hassle with a blade that won't cut like new every time.
