I got a call from my 7 year old niece (Kemberlen, my youngest sister's daughter) who lives in Alaska, asking me if I would make her a snowman quilt for show-n-tell at school. I really don't have a lot of extra time with Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, but there was no way I could say "no"!
I picked up this panel by Henry Glass (Snow Much Fun) and threw some borders on and called it good (1st picture). The 2nd picture shows the dotted fabric that will be the backing. I will quilt it in the morning and get it to the post office in hopes it will get to Alaska in time for the show-n-tell by next Wednesday. Sometimes these "quick panel quilts" are a true life saver!
