QuiltE I did it mainly as a leader and ender project, I just kept cutting into my charm packs and kept a small container at my machine ready to sew, great for when you are paper piecing as you are not always cutting your thread.
There are 400 3 inch bowtie blocks in the quilt, and when my container was full I did start to just sew them to get them finished.
I quilted it at my LQS on her longarm, which she rents out. Lots of fun, which I had the room for a machine of my own..
