Pieced border is my next goal but I do need the wisdom of my fellow quilters
I am making an appliqued flower quilt with pinwheels for my very wonderful granddaughter Sophia. I followed the pattern for this quilt and it's just not as large as I like my quilts to be even for a 1 year old, so I want to add a pieced border with lots of green batiks. I am stuck on how to plan measure and pick out something I like. I already changed the pattern a bit by adding trapunto to the flowers and I like that but I'm not flowing with idea's for the border.
