I did this block w/ machine applique. First I had 2 yellow squares & 2 blue squares. I cut out 2 circles o' each color & had a circle template made out o' the a breakfast bar box. I placed foil onto the ironing board. I then put the cut out circle (w/seamallowances) on the foil. Finally I centered the template in the circle o' fabric, & folded the foil over the whole thing & then smoothed it out. I ironed the foil on the front & back. When I took it out it was such a nice circle. I placed the circles onta the opposite color square & glued 'em down & then top stitched. I then cut the squares w/circles into 4 equal squares each. Finally I arranged 'em inta a Drunkards Path block.
