Probably many of you already know this, but although I read it in my original Crock Pot booklet in the 1970's, I never remembered to try it. Seeing it here

Even if you plan to do something fancier with them, many sweet potato recipes start with cooked sweets. I think I'll cook them for a little less time if they are going to be cooked again in a recipe.

I plan to use Craisins instead of fresh cranberries because I have a huge bag from the big box store and need to find uses for them. I'll probably cut back on the sugar somewhat because Craisins are already sweetened.
