Marybeth, just white/black or one accent color too? I found in the boom that a tiny bit of one accent, it was usually red wasnt it? was really eye catching. a bright blue would also be cool. Have you checked out e-patternscentral.com? lots to pick from there. I just found two I loved checking out quilts on pinterest and ordered from there. I love scrappy too. I am scared of too much white. My dh is not the most fastidious of men. He tends to spill things, not notice that grease on the side of his hand, muddy boot type. I love him dearly, those things.. not so much
so no white oh heck no! splattered paint cloth might work save me some. really splattered.
