One suggestion would be to make a 9 -patch with the green and red fabrics, using 2.5" strips, then measure the dimension of that 9-patch and cut squares the same size of the focus fabric (red barn ), then alternate a 9 -patch with a focus fabric square. I make this pattern all the time for a quick baby quilt, 5 blocks across and 7 down, with the focus fabric squre first in the first row, then continue to alternate the blocks. You can also do what woody suggested with the pattern from quiltermag.com. Looking forward to see what you pick. Also, whenever I get stuck on a project and can't decide how to proceed, have some chocolate or even work on another project then go back to it. Changing your focus can clear your head and make the decision easier. Hope this helps.
