Yes we do have turkeys down under, a lot of Aussies living in the southern states cook them for Christmas lunch, which is our important day.
Because we have lived in very hot areas we keep our Christmas lunch very simple, chicken, ham, lots of prawns and a selection of salads and maybe a hot potato dish. I have just never cooked a turkey, when I was younger my grandmother always cooked duck and pork for Christmas.

Honchey my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family on this important day for you, there is certainly a lot to be thankful for.

QuiltE you will just have to wait a little longer I am about to dash out the door to head to my embroidery club for the day, but of course had to pop in to say hi to everyone

What a terrible accident in Texas, it made our news this morning.
