I guess I took the easy way out. DH wanted to go to Minot to Walmart to buy 2 batteries for his 1 ton flatbed that he uses to haul hay out to the cows in the pasture so we ate at the truckstop. He doesn't like turkey and they didn't have a ham special so he had hot hamburger with mash pot and country gravy and I had the turkey special Had all I wanted plus dessert. No mess no cleanup plus no fuss. Now I have a large ham I will put in the crock pot to slow cook tomorrow and make scalloped pot and ham. I can sew to my hearts content then all day.
