I think what makes the focus fabric so wonderful is the diagonal setting of the farmhouses and the trees and I think you might lose some of that charm by cutting it up. So attic windows is a good choice because you can keep the diagonal going but truthfully, this is one where I wouldn't cut anything. I'd use the focus whole (as suggested by others here) and border it with the colors. It' s just too pretty to lose the picture.
