New Quilter, New Here
After months of drooling over quilts on Pinterest, I bought my first sewing machine about 2 months ago. I took home ec many, many years ago in middle school and HATED the sewing part, so I was somewhat nervous that I could learn to sew. I have been working my way through beginners lessons and loving it now. I try to experience one thing and then try something else. So far I have pieced (disappearing nine patch) & quilted (somewhat) an autumn table runner. It is not straight, but I had fun and hope that I learned something. I LOVE fabric and I love visiting quilting shops. I look forward to visiting this board and learning from "real" quilters.
