Default using stretchy seersucker to quilt

By mistake, I bought seersucker material for the back of my quilt. I mean, the mistake was in the fact that this material stretches along it's length and I didn't realize this until now when I started to put the layers of the quilt together. Can anyone tell me, is it a bad idea to go ahead with this material as the backing, or will it get sewn out of shape due to the stretchiness? I just hate to have to buy more material to quilt with because it is so expensive.
Thanks anybody for some advice.
