My grandmothers embroidered and so did my husband's grandma Rose. I still have some day of the week towels she gave me 30+ years ago for a shower gift. I mostly use them to cover baked goods so they don't wear out.
Thank You... Yes, I also do Cross Stitch. My mom taught me to embroider I think I was 5 or 6? Then when I became disabled, A friends wife taught me to cross stitch. So I've been doing this for years. XS I use 2 strand, embroider I use 3. I stock up on floss when Joanns has them on sale 5 @ $1.
