I have two cats that is like that, to the point of pulling their hair out and one chews his hair to the skin. Looks like someone shaved him in spots. Skin looks healthy, I have changed treats, and food. Next step will be to take them to the Vet., just been trying everything else first.
My Daughter has two Labs, one very sensitive, she gives them fish oil and their skin and coats are beautiful and shiny.
My cat was like that. I got her a flea colar even though we never saw any on her and as long as she has it on she doesn't scratch and she has a full coat of hair. Flea colars my not work that well for dogs but this one works great for her itching. It's around $7 and works for months. I wish it was that easy for my dogs
