Also check the guilds. Often when they have a quilt show, you can place a quilt for sale in the show. The guild typically takes 20-30% of the proceeds, so you have to price it accordingly. If you're a guild member, they may also have a consignment area during the show where you can place smaller items. The advantage of selling this way is that you have a ready audience of people who are interested in looking at quilts and helping the guild, and these people usually also have an appreciation of the time and expense of making a quilt. (On the other hand, many of them also quilt, so are less likely to buy a quilt unless it's exceptional or really well priced.)
