stacked 4 patch posey - a new layout
I have made several stacked 4 patch quilts, but I try to do a different layout with each one I make.
For this one, the quilt is a 9 patch on point with alternating solid blocks, and in those solid blocks I appliqued the 4 patch into a circle - so it looks like a kaleidoscope.
I started out making it smaller, but DH saw it on the design wall, and liked it and said to make it bigger, so I had to buy more of the main fabric, and cut another whole group from 4 repeats.
I will definately send this one out to a long arm quilter.
