Love, comfort we give to others, do we know how much?
When I starting quilting 6 yrs ago, I had no idea how much love, joy, comfort I would bring to others. My DIL cried when I gave her a quilt for Christmas a few years ago. My other DIL, said she sleeps everynite with hers. My friend curls up each and everynite with her crumb quilt! My DH enjoys his Marine quilt that he knows was made specially for him. I had made a quilt for my BIL this summer, he found comfort with it daily, nightly, and then he passed away last month. He asked the quilt go with him. He knew it was full of love. I miss him dearly, but I get comfort knowing he so enjoyed it and that it is with him. That is a few of the people who I have shared my love with. I am so blessed. I hope others feel joy in their quilting ventures.
