It's called a Jelly Roll quilt - except you cut your own strips instead of buying a pre-cut roll.
There are different variations - some put a contrasting square at the end of each strip (in- betwee strips) to break it up a bit, some join the strips on the diagonal (like you do for binding) to get a different look.
