Not the same but I will share this. I made all grand daughters (5) Christmas stockings when they were young. Each year I purchased a sterling charm that represented something that was important in their life that year (cheerleading, speech, b ball, angel, Bible). James Avery was my source for the charms. I sewed this charm on their stocking and they were left with me each year until they all turned near 16. That year I purchased the silver bracelets and had all the charms mounted.
I might add that the charm was not their gift from me each year..just something for them to look forward to in the future. I wanted them to be old enough to take care of them and not leave them in a gym locker. lol
I am glad I did it years past for the price of silver has gone up so much now.
